Matteo studied guitar both in Italy at the Lizard Music Academy in Florence, and in London, where he graduated with a First Class Honours BMus degree from BIMM College of music. Matteo is very passionate about teaching and has over four years of experience working in London both as a private tutor and as a study mentor at BIMM, where he gained experience teaching both one-to-one and groups of pupils alike. In 2018 Matteo also started working as a music composer for media. His credits include an advert for Mercedes-Benz titled ‘My Father’s Dream: Blind Mechanic Drives Car for the First Time in His Life’. Watch it at

As well as teaching guitar at CSMC, Matteo leads the CSMC Junior Rock Band.
